Odell Beckham Jr. Is an American Football Wide Receiver for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He started playing football his freshman year in Isidore Newman School, New Orleans, Louisiana. Odell was born November 5, 1992 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His parents are Heather Van Norman and Odell Beckham Sr. His mom Heather was a track runner for Louisiana State University (LSU), and his father Odell Sr. was a running back for Louisiana State University.
Odell Beckham Jr, was an All American in High School, winning most receptions and carries in the state. He won the SEC championship in (LSU), Outback bowl Championship in 2014, and was first round draft pick by the New York Giants in 2014.
His first season he made a big impact with the Giants because their top receiver Victor Cruz got injured with a detore calf, trying to run a route against the Dallas Cowboys. Odell became the Giants top receiver for more receptions, rushing, and carries in a year, earning him the All Player Rookie of the Year award that season. Odell is most famous for his amazing play called “The Catch”.
